Mailee Walker oversees the Foundation's marketing and communications and helps with the Foundation's grantmaking efforts.  Mailee joined the Foundation in 2003, bringing with her extensive nonprofit and community development experience.  She has served as Executive Director of the Stanford Medical Youth Science Program and Project Coordinator for the Neighborhood Improvement Initiative, a resident-driven community development initiative in East Palo Alto , CA .  She began her career in the nonprofit sector working as a Special Assistant at the Greater Indiana Community Foundation.

Mailee is the founding board member of Villarreal Scholar-Athlete Program, and is a member of the Friends of Asian American and Pacific Islanders in Philanthropy.  She co-chairs the Delaware Valley Grantmakers' Community Development Funders Affinity Group.  She is a former Jane Addams Fellow and a former Coro Fellow.  Mailee earned a BA in urban studies from Stanford University and an MBA in change management from the Wharton Graduate School of Business.
