Hopeton S. Dunn Ph.D

Dr. Hopeton Dunn is the Director for the newly established Telecommunications Policy and Management Programme of the Mona School of Business, University of the West Indies in Kingston . He is also Digicel Chair in Telecommunication Policy and Management at the UWI. Dr Dunn is an experienced researcher, communications policy analyst and lecturer.
He currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Creative Production and Training Centre Limited (CPTC), and is also a Board Member of the National Library of Jamaica. Dr Dunn is a former Chairman of Jamaica's Telecommunications Advisory Council and Chairman of the Policy and Legislative Committee of

the BroadcastingCommission of Jamaica, on which he served as a Commissioner for six years.

Hopeton Dunn is the author or editor of several books and scholarly articles on broadcasting, telecommunications, tourism, media and information technology within the Caribbean, North America and Southern Africa . He is also a Course Director and the Associate Programme Director of the Masters Degree in Telecommunications Policy and Regulation (MRP), offered online by the University of the West Indies .

Dr. Dunn is a past student of Cornwall College and a graduate of the University of the West Indies (UWI) and City University , London
